Start of Siena's (Sisi's) Journey
Sisi was born in Toronto, Ontario in 2012.

Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer Diagnosis
At age three, Sisi was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. Despite her young age, she faced the challenging journey of chemotherapy and radiation with remarkable courage and determination. Her strength throughout this difficult period inspired everyone around her.​​

Cancer Free!
In 2021, after 5 years of close surveillance, Sisi was declared cancer-free, marking the end of her treatment journey and the beginning of a new chapter as a "long-term survivor" with cancer behind her.

Published Author: She-Warrior
Sisi became a published author and illustrator with "She-Warrior," sharing her experiences with childhood cancer to support and inspire other young patients and their families. This led to media attention and public speaking opportunities to share her story and encourage others to have hope and to contribute to charities that supported her through illness and helped her heal.

Character Education Award
Graduating from grade six, Sisi was honored with the Character Education Award, recognizing her exceptional display of values including respect, empathy, friendship, and responsibility​.

A Sweet Revolution
Building on her success as an author, Sisi wrote and illustrated her second book: "The Sweet Revolution: A Tale of Food, Friendship, and Freedom", dedicated to her sister Giulietta.

Expression Through Dance
In August 2023, Sisi and her salsa dance partner were invited to perform at at the Vaughan International Music Festival​​.

Piano Training
In June 2025, Sisi completed her Grade 4 exam from the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music, a milestone that reflects her dedication, discipline, and love for classical piano. She is currently preparing for the next level of examination to take place in Spring 2026. She also is learning popular and improvisational techniques to increase her skills and enjoyment and allow her to play the music that she loves and share with Giulietta, who is her biggest fan.

Bat Mitzvah
Sisi's Bat Mitzvah was a joyful celebration, marking her growth, strength, and the beautiful young woman she is becoming surrounded by love and community.

Musical Theatre
Sisi captivated audiences as “Gabriella” in Tandem Studios’ production of High School Musical, bringing heart, talent, and confidence to the role. In Bravo's fall season performance of "The Big 1-0" she was a very funny "Lorena" and in spring 2026, she is going to be performing as "Marilla" in the Bravo Youth Troupe's production of "Anne of Green Gables".

Sisi Today!
Today, Sisi is growing into a confident young woman with many interests and opportunities ahead of her. She continues to write, perform, create art, and speak publicly about causes she cares about. Through it all, her bond with Benji and Giulietta remains strong. They cheer each other on, share in each other's milestones, and continue to be an important part of each other's lives. Whatever comes next for Sisi, she moves forward grounded in family and with her siblings by her side.
