My Bat Mitzvah

 Having your  Bat Mitzvah is one of the most important days in a young jewish girl's life. First, you stand on the bima in front of your family, friends, and god, and recite your havtara. You parade the Torah around the room and have candy thrown at you. It is very fun. This day marks the beginning of your adult life. After the ceremony, some people choose to have a party. My party was one of the most magical nights of my entire life! The theme was pink and all my friends were there. What could be better than that? I was wearing a sparkly pink dress that made me feel like a princess. I performed a salsa dance with my dance partner and it was so much fun! I think my friends enjoyed watching. It was just so perfect. All my favourite songs were playing, the cupcakes were delicious, and I danced the night away! It sure was a night to remember.
